The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee serves as a resource and advocate for social justice and equity issues within ASOR and its membership, in order to expand access to the history and cultures of the ancient Near East and Mediterranean world. DEI Committee members volunteer to serve one term (3 years) with the possibility to renew for a second term. We have space for 3 new members in the Class of 2027 (January 1, 2025—December 31, 2027). If the time is not right for you now, this open call will be held every year.
