2022 ASOR POSTER SESSION
UPDATE: AUGUST 15 is the extended deadline to submit a poster proposal for the 2022 ASOR Annual Meeting.
*A late abstract fee of $25 applies to poster proposals submitted after the August 1 deadline.
The poster session is an opportunity for students and junior members to be involved in the academic program of ASOR鈥檚 Annual Meeting, as well as to get the word out about your research. 聽Posters are an ideal format for presenting archaeological projects in general; a technical aspect of your project; a spectacular find from the field season; or complex graphic and/or quantitative data.
The 2022 ASOR Poster Session聽will be held as part of both the virtual (online, Oct. 19-23) and in-person (Boston, Nov. 16-19) components of the Annual Meeting. A poster may be presented in one or both components, and all accepted posters will be hosted in an online gallery. We are excited that this will provide even more opportunities for Poster Session participation! Participants can submit their proposal to one or both components via ASOR’s Online Abstract Management System.
The virtual Poster Session will consist of an online poster gallery, as well as opportunities for synchronous discussion and Q&A during the virtual component (Online, Oct. 19-23). If your poster is accepted for the virtual component (or both components) a PDF version will be due by September 30.
The in-person Poster Session will be held in Boston on November 19 from 12:45-2:00pm. Presenters should plan to be available during this time to speak with attendees and answer questions about their poster. Please check back in mid-summer for more specific information regarding the format of the in-person poster session.
ASOR Academic Membership and Annual Meeting Registration are requirements for all presenters on the academic program.
