2021 ASOR POSTER SESSION
UPDATE: The Call for Posters deadline has been extended to August 15, 2021. A late abstract fee of $25 applies to poster proposals submitted after August 1. Please pay the late fee in the ASOR Online Store.
The poster session is an opportunity for students and junior members to be involved in the academic program of ASOR鈥檚 Annual Meeting, as well as to get the word out about your research. 聽Posters are an ideal format for presenting archaeological projects in general; a technical aspect of your project; a spectacular find from the field season; or complex graphic and/or quantitative data.
The 2021 ASOR Poster Session聽will be held as part of both the in-person (Chicago, Nov. 17-20) and virtual (Online, Dec. 9-12) components of the Annual Meeting. We are excited that this will provide even more opportunities for Poster Session participation! Participants can submit their proposal to one or both components via ASOR’s Online Abstract Management System. There are separate forms for each component – make sure to complete both forms if you want to present your poster both in-person and online.
The in-person Poster Session will be held in Chicago on November 20 from 12:45-2:00pm. Presenters should plan to stand next to their poster during this time to answer questions from attendees.
The virtual Poster Session will consist of an online poster gallery, as well as opportunities for synchronous discussion and Q&A during the virtual component (Online, Dec. 9-12).
ASOR Academic Membership and Annual Meeting Registration are requirements for all presenters on the academic program. The registration fees include participation in both components.
