The Early Career Scholars Committee takes responsibility for championing the views and needs of ASOR’s early career scholars (a group defined as including all ASOR members who qualify for the Undergraduate, Graduate, and Early Career membership rates); hosting a luncheon and other programming as deemed appropriate for Early Career Scholars at the ASOR Annual Meeting; and working with the ASOR staff, ASOR leadership, and the ASOR Board of Trustees to further the goal articulated in the ASOR 2021-2025 Strategic Plan, to develop strategies to foster the next generation of scholars of the Near East and wider Mediterranean and promote their success. ASOR Early Career Scholars include all ASOR members who qualify for the following levels of membership: Early Career, Graduate, and Undergraduate.
