Dr. Tobin Hartnell reports on the stabilization of the Tabira Gate at Ashur, the first project to benefit from a Shepard Grant. The Gate had been badly damaged since 2015 when ISIL attempted to destroy the Assyrian-era structure, and urgent stabilization was needed before the rainy season in 2020.
